Family Fun as Fossett’s Circus joins Dalriada Line-Up

As part of the Kiddies Kingdom at the Dalriada Festival young and old are set for a magical treat, as Ireland’s National Circus, Fossett’s Circus, will return to Northern Ireland after a six-year absence. Fossett's is Ireland's best and most respected Circus.
The exciting Festival Circus will be filled with all the thrills and spills of the famous Fossett’s productions and they will have their very own special brand of magic for all to enjoy including amazing performances from acrobats and contortionists. Children and adults will also be astonished by the troupe, which includes a Chinese Pole performance, a knife-throwing Ringmistress and of course a clown. All taking place inside a 600 seater BIG TOP CIRCUS TENT!!!

Dalriada Festival build-up begins!!

Thats right folks!! Believe it or not the team behind the Dalriada Festival are moving on site in the next few days to start the buildup process. Exciting!!! From marquees, grandstands, big tops, stages etc. to a funfair including dodgems and a ferris wheel, we have finally reached that stage of event delivery. With just over 3 weeks to go there is alot to do. Also, make sure and look out for some familiar bright yellow signs when on your travels. We will be running a competition in the next few weeks relating to our directional signs so keep checking our website for more info when released.

Singing Trio appear on Red Carpet

Singing trio THE PRIESTS, who will be appearing at the Dalriada Festival next month, recently walked the red carpet at the Classic Brit Awards, host by Myleene Klass. Although the guys did not pick up an award this time round, they where there to support other top classical acts such as Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo and so on. Last week GLENARM CASTLE lay host to the different media providers from across N.Ireland, Scotland and England who will be promoting the Festival, as well as an opportunity for the Festival Sponsors to come along and soak up a little taste of what will be on offer at the Dalriada Festival. On arrival our visitors where greeted by the delightful sound of WOOKALILY (a bluegrass band taking part at the Festival) followed by a cooking demonstration by N.Irelands ambassador of fine foods, Jenny Bristow. Lunch was provided after which THE PRIESTS gave our guests an exclusive performance of Danny Boy which was sure to raise many goosebumps!!! A BIG CONGRATULATIONS goes out to young Rowan Aitchison who found one of our balloons from the balloon launch, whilst kayaking near his home in Lochgilphead, Argyll. Rowan and his family are excited about the winning prize which includes travel, accommodation and tickets to the Dalriada Festival, courtesy of P&O Ferries and Hastings Hotel Group. We look forward to meeting them in June.
