The Dalriada Festival is well established as N.Ireland's biggest cultural family festival taking place at the iconic Glenarm Castle & Village annually in July.

Attracting in excess of 30,000 annually, the main objective of the Dalriada Festival is to recycle and share talent, renew passion and belief in our local area, and regenerate excitement in our land, its people and our shared cultural heritage. The Festival has something for everyone and encompasses a varied programme of action packed events to include World Class Highland Games, Europe's Strongest Man, Live Wrestling, Wife Carrying Championships, Pipe Band Championships, Fine Foods, Chef Demonstrations, Pop-up Restaurants, numerous music and dance stages featuring over 50 acts, craft/trade stalls and exhibitions, performing arts, children's entertainment featuring an appearance by the official stars of children's television and much more including our main stage which to date has featured the likes of Bay City Rollers, Bagatelle, Hothouse Flowers, The Commitments, The Priests, General Fiasco, Duke Special, Amici, Lisa McHugh, Horslips, INNOVA, Philomena Beagley, Mike Denver, The Fureys, Ronan Keating, Nathan Carter, Sharon Corr and many others.

The Festival also continues to host major sporting events including a Rowing Regatta, Triathlon, Duathlon, 5k - 10k run, Super Endurocross (N.Ireland's only outdoor super endurocross), Horse Hunt Chase etc. The local village of Glenarm plays a vital role in the many different community events including a street fair, competitions, music, and so on.
